GREG AMENDOLA

Greg is an accomplished professional with a wealth of experience in the engineering and construction industry. He obtained his bachelor’s degree in business administration and finance from California State University, Fullerton, after graduating from Servite High School in Anaheim, California.



Immediately after graduation, Greg joined the prestigious Fluor Corporation, where he embarked on an impressive career spanning over 38 years. As a senior member of the Human Resources/Administration team, he focused primarily on the Construction Division of the company. Greg thrived on field projects and actively contributed to numerous endeavors across the United States and various locations worldwide, including five continents.

During his tenure at Fluor, Greg held a pivotal role as the worldwide HR/Admin Director for Fluor Constructors. In this capacity, he effectively managed staffing, administration, policy development/implementation, and team coordination for hundreds of gas, oil, and power projects. His extensive international experience included notable stints in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Abu Dhabi, and Dubai in the Middle East. He also made valuable contributions to projects in Canada, South Africa, Australia, Afghanistan, and Kazakhstan. Greg took great pleasure in engaging with individuals from diverse backgrounds and played a significant role in identifying and nurturing talented employees from non-Western countries, such as Pakistan, India, Thailand, the Philippines, and Indonesia.


In addition to his Human Resources/Administration expertise, Greg actively participated in various Fluor projects involving Project Management, Contracts Administration, Accounting, and Team Building. He demonstrated versatility and adaptability throughout his career, showcasing his ability to contribute to different areas within the organization.

During a midlife transition period, Greg explored opportunities outside of Fluor for approximately five years. He took on roles such as Services Manager for Suncrest Interiors, a prominent floor covering company in Orange County, and Sales Representative for Aspen Promotions Company, which supplied promotional goods to major U.S. companies. He later served as the Development Director at Servite High School, where he focused on fundraising initiatives and student recruitment.


Having recently retired from Fluor, Greg now dedicates his time to giving back to the community. He passionately volunteers as a Head Football Coach for Friday Night Lights in Mission Viejo, guiding young athletes in the first and second grades. Additionally, he shares his expertise with St. Edwards Catholic grade school in Dana Point, coaching seventh and eighth graders. Greg remains an unwavering supporter of his alma mater, Servite High School, and annually co-chairs the Servite Golf Tournament. He actively collaborates with Servite's administration and faculty, lending his talent and resources to various fundraising activities and providing assistance as needed by the school's teachers, coaches, and administrators
